Hello,

So I've done a clean install. And after I installed the graphics card (amd rx590 xfx fatboy) I installed msi afterburner and it suddenly said something about rtcore.sys. Now the bigger problem is, it doesn't give any reading and it only reads the % in usage. The temps are gone... And I can't use the fancurve either...

Anybody have any idea what to do?

I also get the message: 0x80240fff. It doesn't let me download new updates...

Make sure all drivers are up to date and reinstall afterburner again, use newest version possible.

Check Device manager. Is the GPU showing up properly? Does windows recognize that it is indeed the correct GPU? Try using GPUZ to see what it is pulling. Try other overclocking software is it also have all 0's?

If I use settings in msi afterburner then it shows that it recognises the card properly. I can use radeon's program (adrenaline 2020) and there it shows the temps. HWINFO does the same. So it really only is msi afterburner. The problem is that I can't use the fancurve which is kind of important to me...

No but I don't know if its safe. I used to trust msi afterburner only and I don't wanna destroy my card. Besides thats asus, yet another program. Its not xfx or radeon... Maybe it'll even give more problems...

I've looked it up and it has something to do with "Rivatuner"... Can anyone help me with this? Can't change anything either. Can't overclock (not that I need to, just to proof I can't do anything)

As far as I remember there was some guides on YT about setting up properly all settings in msi afterburner, including rivatuner, try to find some. If I find some time I’ll try to have a look as well

Did you tried reinstalling drivers like ppl on reddit suggested?

If not try to uninstall afterburner, DDU all drivers and start from scratch

The problem is, I don't like it when I can't control the fans. You see those cards are pretty warm. And I used to manage the fanspeed, didn't mind the noise at all, but atleast then I could change it and it was stable at 80 degrees... Now with this problem, idk what to do... Someone suggested me to usse EVGA, doesn't work, someone suggested to use ASUS, doesn't work,...

Maybe it's better to just leave it alone then and let my card melt???

Its not my videocard. It can't be because the installation went properly, radeon adrenalin 2020 installation went properly, the videocard reacted at the end of the installation so both fans are working...

So calling or contacting the manufacturs seems pointless because they will tell you that the program of radeon is good enough anyway,... blah blah... a whole discusion about the safety of the card etc... which I don't need...

-MSI afterburner is greyed out and I can't touch anything

-ASUS GPU tweak says load vender.dll fail please install vga driver which I just did...

-EVGA just doesn't work...

Anything else? Cause I'm running out of solutions you know?
