2 builds maybe?

linus and crew what do you think of these 2 builds? i like the AMD 1 but had intel last 12 yrs.. what do you guys think?

so guy say what you think lmao both are huge upgrades from the last pc i built been about 10+ i think lasted a long time

They'd be pretty much equivalent in terms of performance for almost all tasks. The AMD build just has the benefit of allowing further upgradability of the CPU in the future, so I'd go for that personally.

 

What I'd change is drop down the motherboard to a Strix X570-E, as it offers pretty much everything that the Crosshair VIII Hero has to offer, except for the Wi-Fi. If you really need that, you could look for a separate Wi-Fi card. Another option would be the TUF X570-PLUS (Wi-Fi) which still offers great VRMs (plenty for a 3800X), Wi-Fi (obviously), but you lose out on a few extra features that may or may not be relevant to you, like better on-board audio, for example. 

Also, you could drop down to an RM550x, or RM650x if you just want some more headroom. That system won't be consuming anywhere near the 850W mark, even if you'd add another GPU in there.

Assuming you are mainly looking to use the PC for gaming, this would perform significantly better, and also at a lower cost.

If gaming is not the main priority, but rather multi-threaded workloads such as video or 3D editing for example, drop the GPU down to a 2070 Super and swap out the 3700X for a 3900X.
