Will this ram combination work with XMP?

I've got corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8R  x2
Do i need to get the exact same type of ram corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8R x2
Or i could get any type of ram which is 1600mhz and 8-8-8-24?
Right now i got 2 of those mixed with samsung cl11 so its running 1600 at cl11. When i remove the samsung sticks i'm able to run xmp 1600mhz 8-8-8-24, otherwise its cl11 and 1600mhz at best.
Except of color, is there any difference between CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8 and CMZ8GX3M2A1600C8R?

What ram should i get? I want to run 16gb with xmp, at least cl8 1600mhz.

Yes, you can have two different sticks of ram in your PC with no problems. They can be different speeds, but the slower stick will slow down the other stick. So just get another 1600Mhz stick. I'd just get a new 16gb kit in your situation for the best compatibility.

this does not answer my question.
My question is, will xmp work fine (xmp as in running 1600mhz 8-8-8-24) if i put for example some kingston or crucial or hyperx ram that is supports 1600mhz 8-8-8-24 xmp?
Because due to my ram being mixed, 2 sticks corsair and 2 sticks samsung, i cant run 8-8-8-24 (cl8) instead its running cl11.

My goal is to run 1600mhz cl8 on 16gb without changing out the corsair ram.
