Key cleaning halp

Keycap puller as shown above is the right first step.

Other than that, just take off all keycaps, thrown them in luke-warm soapy water (not warm/hot water! No solvent either. Just hand or dish soap) and let them soak for half an hour.

After letting them soak, take them out and clean each side with a damp rag (if nessecary), dry them and set them down on a towel.

Now let them fully dry.

 

In the down times with cleaning the keycaps, you can focus on the keyboard base. 

Bit of compressed air and cleaning with a rag and maybe Qtips should work. Maybe you need alcohol somewhere, but be careful with rubber materials.

How much you need to clean both will depend on how bad it all is.

I don't recommend cleaning inside the keyswitches unless you want to relive them

 

After everything has dried you can put the keycaps on the board again.
