gpu for my rig

Hi, so my gpu died (kinda.)

My gpu gives a black screen with drivers installed and without drivers (basic windows drivers) it works but stutters even when I watch youtube so help me select a new gpu im not looking for some high end gpu but anything that is cheap on pocket and allows me to play overwatch is good for me.

 

My computer is old now but I cant afford to upgrade yet so please share any suggestions you might have.

GT 1030 with GDDR5 or GTX 950 might work.

You could look at used rx560/570/580 or 1050ti & 1060 cards, all of them should be fairly cheap.

I already tried installing old version from website as well as the one in dvd which came with gpu so im sure its not driver related

are you looking for cheap solutions or free solutions?

 

because HD7950 or a r7 260x is usually quite cheap.

what is your budget?you want to play at 1080p,medium,max settings?How many fps?

60 fps medium/high settings at 1600x900 resolution

I looked at used market first. Could not find anything there.

So thought of getting a new cheap one.

I guess i can get used one at ebay or aliexpress but then I will have to pay custom which I am not sure how much it will cost me

rx460/560 are at least twice the price usually but somewhat faster - but I don't think it is worth the difference in price.

But rx470/570 4gb are within the budget and they provide a substantial improvement over the previously named cards and they do suit your fx8350 much better.The only isssue is to find a good deal for it, as I do think it shouldn't exceed $100 new.

Iim getting a 1060 6 gb msi card for 7k aprox 100 usd. Should i take it?

2.) before 1 - plug another display into the thing and see if you can get an output from any other ports, then go into radeon settings and look at the colour depth the other monitor is set to. i know it sounds dumb but i was having all kinds of issues with a vega64 on amd's latest drivers because it was trying to run my screen in 12 bit colour when it only supports up to 10 - and it had the same symptoms - all fine until the drivers went on and then no display output from there

It gives put display but not when drivers are installed also how does one flash bios on gpu?
