Does anyone here still have and often use their system? I was thinking about adding friends and play together

I have my partners wii, don't really use it now. Did install homebrew channel but done nothing with it.

I have my Wii U still, but I only play my backlog of games on it.  I don't choose it for online play though.  Like I wouldn't play Splatoon or Smash 4 on Wii U over Splatoon 2 and Smash Ultimate on my Switch.  Or MK8 over MK8D
