Game recommendations

I am currently using a HP laptop (Core i3 2310M, 4GB 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM and Intel HD Graphics 3000). Can someone suggest some good games to play. I at least want the game to be playable at low setting with more than 30 FPS.

You should stick to 2D games and retro titles. I would recommend the Rayman series for instance and indie games Limbo or Electronic Super Joy.

Sims are sort of by definition 3D. Iirc xplane was good at flight sim.  Very accurate, and the specs weren’t super high.  Need to check requirements though.  It may or may not be in your range. It’s got tons of versions though.  Earlier versions usually have lower requirements.  You don’t meet requirements for xplane11. Not enough ram.  You seem to meet recommends for 10 though. Barely.  As far as adventure goes that’s all story writing, which is independent from specs.  There should be some great stuff in your range.
