There is a check mark to apply the setting that must be clicked before the setting is inputted to the card,  do not jump to 1500 right away its an extreme long shot for that card. Get kombuster (dont think i spelled that right) add in for msi afterburner. Use afterburner software to adjust fan curves for a more aggressive ramp up and 100% fan much sooner as the temps above 60c will cause the card to crash when pushing the clock limits. Id start with 1425gpu 2075mem then tweak up slowly while looking for signs of artifacting in kombuster software. Finally once you see artifacting occurring you will have to back things off a little ways for total stability in all applications/games.

As they call it "the silicon lottery " could very well be in your favor and you could get to 1500 core but usually its with a water block solution so the die runs at a much lower temp then when air cooled. I was just suggesting start off conservative and while kombuster is running slowy move up the settings till it shows artifacting in the scanner.  Its a sure fire way to find your individual gpu's limits. Good luck !
