So I just bought a new cpu and motherboard ( i9 9900k and an Asus rog z390-e motherboard) and I’ve been having some troubles. So first off the bios is detecting my m.2 drive but it does not show it as a boot option. My second problem is that my Ethernet port is not working, I took my pc to a fix place and they decided that the Ethernet port was dead so I returned it and got a new one sent to me but I’m having the same exact problem.

Have you actually gotten the PC into Windows?

Did you do a fresh install or use a drive that already has windows on it?

I have the same board and processor, if you have an older install of windows on the m.2 drive it may not be letting it boot due to what your boot options are set to such as CSM, Fast Boot, and Secure Boot, your best bet is to do a completely fresh install of Windows 10 in UEFI(honestly anytime you upgrade or change out your CPU and motherboard you should do a fresh install). As for the ethernet port it may need to have the driver installed or updated once you get the PC into Windows for it to work properly, use Asus Armoury Crate or the manufacturer's support page for the motherboard to get all the necessary and up to date drivers.
