Asus Radeon HD 7970

BCreation

I live in Canada. I was looking at the 7970 Matrix from Asus and noticed that it's a hundred dollars cheaper, than the DCUiiTOP. Why is this? Is the DCUii better? Or is it just a bad price put on it.

The Asus Matrix is the highest overclocking, most feature filled & most expensive 7970 card that Asus offers.

Asus only pairs their Matrix nomenclature with their top of the line most exclusive card.

The price looks like a strange anomaly to me.

It's just overclocked, it will give you an extra 10 FPS at most.

no... that card is so well equiped with a lot of functions that you can overclock a lot out of that puppy. its mainly used for LN2 benchmarks and customers who like to pay to much.

I was never planning on buying the cards from Canada Computers. It was just a reference.

The DCII Top cards are always overpriced and their factory overclock isn't that much at lot of the time.

Any better solutions besides the 7970 Matrix?

Just get the standard DCII if you want quietness.
