But can i move my games to my new SSD via a USB adapter? cos i have no other SATA ports on my MoBo...

I want to move games from the 500gb ssd to the 1tb ssd, then use the 500gb ssd as my boot drive.

Do you only have one sata port on your pc?

Or are you planning on running all your games through an external drive?

@Nathan5660, you would first consider what "cloning" software to use. At my job, we use Acronis to clone your existing boot dive to your new ssd.

There are many tools, like ease us, micrium and clonezilla (free and powerful).

Do some research on what works best for you. Then, you just connect the ssd to your pc, clone your boot drive and just swap them after cloning is completed. GG
