So recently I’ve acquired an rx 580 8gb with my build. My last gpu was a nvidia gtx 960 4gb. Every time I launch a game for example destiny 2 I’ve noticed that I’m getting less frames than my old gpu. About 10 frames or  less. So I decided to run a benchmark and downloaded MSI afterburner. It turns out that my gpu usage is 100% while my cpu usage is 30-45%. What’s bottlenecking my system.

Intel core i56402p

Rx580 8gb xfx

16gb ddr4 ram ballistix

Asus h170 pro

sata 128gb ssd

Samsung 1tb ssd

segagate hard drive 1tb

and I don’t believe so, could tell you where to find the old drivers

If you don’t believe so that means you didn’t. Download DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and follow the instructions over there ( safe mode etc) once you do that you can redownload amd drivers

Just the gpu I upgraded. My last gpu was a gtx 960 4gb, the gpu I have now is a rx 580 8gb. I’m just confused what’s causing the bottle neck if my gpu is using 100% usage while my cpu is using 40-50%. Could I slow down my gpu or over clock my cpu?
