Specs: i5 7500

12GB HyperX Fury DDR4

1TB HDD

RX 570 Nitro+

I have seen videos of others playing Modern Warfare on much weaker specs with no Issues at all! But my PC is uncapable of running this game smoothly for more than a minute. It’s super frustrating :( Some times I can’t even load into maps. I am wondering if it is cause I don’t have a SSD that the game is installed on. I have tried many “fixes” like lowering the CPU Priority to Normal and all that Jazz! But to no actual results. So I have come to this Forum in search of some real help! Thanks guys!

I run it from a HDD, 4C8T CPU and at 1080p with a GTX1070, using a mechanical HDD and don't stutter.

Just an FYI

For those that blatantly say its that HDD

(Best to check drive health, speeds and fragmentation though)

Ram Usage while playing ?

I know this game will cache SO MUCH and may create its own issues with that...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

My HDD is in good condition according to Seagate's Software and CrystalDisk. So I don't know now :(

Maybe a thermal throttling issuse I'd say if it was more than one game. Have you the latest update of Nvidia drivers? Or have I recently updated?

Just played for 2 Hours with a Hardware Monitor on aswell. No CPU temps recorded over 70C and no GPU Temps over 67C I have updated my RX card to the most recent AMD Drivers
