MW Stutter Help PLS!

Specs: i5 7500 

12GB HyperX Fury DDR4

1TB HDD

RX 570 Nitro+

 

I have seen videos of others playing Modern Warfare on much weaker specs with no Issues at all! But my PC is uncapable of running this game smoothly for more than a minute. It’s super frustrating  Some times I can’t even load into maps. I am wondering if it is cause I don’t have a SSD that the game is installed on. I have tried many “fixes” like lowering the CPU Priority to Normal and all that Jazz! But to no actual results. So I have come to this Forum in search of some real help! Thanks guys!

I guess try reinstalling that is the only thing I can think of

I run it from a HDD, 4C8T CPU and at 1080p with a GTX1070, using a mechanical HDD and don't stutter.

 

Just an FYI 

For those that blatantly say its that HDD

(Best to check drive health, speeds and fragmentation though)

 

Ram Usage while playing ?

I know this game will cache SO MUCH and may create its own issues with that...

I run the game at medium and some high settings and I’m getting around 100-110 FPS. But it freezes and I have that little frame symbol almost all the time

Have you exceeded the vram limit on the GPU with settings. In game, graphics and there a vram meter. Is that red?

Nope. I use around 2.5 GB of my total 4gb

My HDD is in good condition according to Seagate's Software and CrystalDisk. So I don't know now :(

Maybe a thermal throttling issuse I'd say if it was more than one game. Have you the latest update of Nvidia drivers? Or have I recently updated?

Just played for 2 Hours with a Hardware Monitor on aswell. No CPU temps recorded over 70C and no GPU Temps over 67C I have updated my RX card to the most recent AMD Drivers

AHH sorry thought it was Nvidia, also maybe worth noting that and have been havin driver issues of late. I'll have a look and see if your card maybe affected.

Just thinking with you having 12gb of ram,does his mean u have a 8gb and a 4gb stick? And if there different sizes they won't run a double data rate? Maybe someone else can clear this up.
