This will hopefully be about my last problem with building my pc. For some reason on my NZXT H510 case the cable named F panel, which i assumed to be the cable that powers everything is not working. I know its the cable because i can start the power with just metal instead. Here is a video to show what im talking about. Basically im asking, how do i connect my case to my motherboard so when i press the button it turns on??

Help would be very much appreciated.

You should have this breaker cable , use it instead.

i will tell you this though, when either of the cables are plugged in. When i switch the power supply on it turns on briefly like so.

i do have this cable and i tried it, made sure to plug it in correct. Same results as before

Remember that power button need to be right way. Easiest way to determine is to check back of the connector for small arrow, that is positive (+) so check this out ?

that explanation was a little off. The only positive and negative signs i see are on my power LED’s. My power switch doesnt have a postive andywhere.

Looks like normal layout of pins.
Can you take pic how you connected it?

I cant really get a picture in my case like that, but i know its in there exactly how that picture shows. Are you sure the way i put it in could be the only reason? Also i forgot to add, there is no reset SW for me.

yes, as repeated before when i switch the psu on it seems to turn the computer on briefly when these two are connected as well.

If this connector is inserted properly than only other option is that wire is not connected properly to power switch on case. Specially that you can start it when shorting pins , that means mobo is working properly. Any chance you can have a look on the other side of that wire if its connected to power switch ??

My advice would be to either try contacting nzxt and tell them you have problem with power switch , maybe they can send you this board with cable , it may work,

or just rma the whole case
