AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT release. Should I wait?

I am probably not gonna buy it, but I wonder if the prices of other cards, particularly GTX 1660 / 1660 Super or Radeon rx 570 / 580 will drop after the release of the new rx 5600 rx. What do you guys think? I am building my first PC and I’m wondering if to wait with being GPU to spare some cash.

I don't think the prices would drop by much. The 570/580 are already close to 100$ depending on the market and go for 70-80$ on the used market. I think this would be the best investment if you're on a tight budget. If you have 200$ to spare, go for a 1660 or try to find a used 1070ti or vega 56.

Can't really say until we know how well the 5600XT performs. People were excited about the 5500XT and that barely improved over the RX 570/580/590 and it's pricing doesn't make it an attractive option at that price point in terms of price:performance. Just wait out and see I guess, it releases on the 21st anyway (I think) so I'm sure you can hold out for two weeks.
