Most PEN testing OS's are inherently unstable as they are usually designed to be run as a live disk, if you are looking for a OS for PEN testing that you can run as an actual installed OS i would say try Kali linux the replacement for Backtrack. http://www.kali.org/

Thanx - i will try it... somehow i couldn´t install back-track so i tried blackbuntu...
