Case fans, Where do I connect them on the motherboard?

Go to solution Solved by NotSoEpicMods,

That adapter will run the fans at 100%. Most motherboards these days control the fans to some extent so if you can plug them into the motherboard I would do that.

I got 2 fans in the case, both of them connect to this thing that has a molex:

Do I just connect the molex to the PSU? Or can I just keep this whole thing out of the way, and connect the fans directly on the motherboard?

Motherboard has Sysfan 1, all the way up to Sysfan 4, and Pump connection. All of them have 4 pins, while fans have 3 holes. If I were to install the fans on the mobo, which way would I plug them in?

The fan connector will only fit on the header one way.

Oh I just now saw the notch. I thought building a PC was little more complex. It's like everything is so that you can't make a mistake. :)

Does it matter where I plug them in terms of Sysfan1 2 3 etc? Ideally 1 and 2 right? This will also require one less cable from the psu since its modular so the case will look cleaner.

No, not really. Whatever suits your cable management needs will suffice.

Yea computers these days is almost like playing with lego but it's just computer parts. Just make sure any fans responsible to cpu cooling like on a rad or the cpu cooler are plugged into the cpu fan header on the motherboard(it should be labeled). Motherboards by default will be controlling the cpu fan header from the cpu temps. The others don't matter quite as much but they are generally placed in fairly logical locations like the rear case fan header will be fairly close to the rear of the motherboard.
