My mouse keeps disconnecting?

Hello i have a logitech G403 mouse that I've had for a little bit but by no means its life span. This has only started recently, the USB will make the disconnect sound and my cursor will freeze, after a little less than half of a second it reconnects (not making the windows reconnect sound) and starts working again. Sometimes It'll happen 3 times in a row, twice, or once. I have tried moving the USB around to different ports and it hasn't done anything to fix the problem. I don't have any other problems with other USB peripherals. This did not happen as a result of me switching the port either, It is the same port it has been working in for its entire life time. Also i do have the logitech gaming soft ware for the mouse.

Have you tried to use the mouse on a diffrent computer? Might be a defective mouse, that can happen

Ive had it for a quite some time now with no problems but Ill try that thank you
