USB 3.0 on a 3.2 motherboard header

I know its a terrible waste... But can I connect my cases 3.0 ports to my motherboard 3.2 USB headers? The way I think of it, its only a bottleneck problem, and it will run at 3.0 speeds, not a functional problem though. What do you think?

Sure, better than having no ports. There are adapters available for that use case.
