Hello guys!

So I have this old laptop (Asus F550J i7- gen 4 and gtx 850m config) and I used it a lot and carried with me almost everywhere and because of the lack of a protective metal back it now has pressure points on the lcd and the bottom cover is cracked and now I have a hard time opening it. Although I found a replacement lcd, I would really want to upgrade to a 120/144hz 30 pin(I found one) panel. Can I upgrade it or it won't work? As for the bottom cover I could only find one in china... Are there any compatible back covers from other models?

As far as the laptop screen, if you can find a driver that will run it, it should be fine. Whether that's an official Asus one, or a generic one.
