Lately my performance on Destiny 2 is really bad I have the lowest settings possible but im still not getting 144 fps instead i get about 100 or less fps unless im on afk screen. I also checked my drivers, i disabled the geforce optimizer for games, I also checked my power cables to see if anything was loose and I am still not hitting 144+ with the low settings. My friend has an identical build just hes with intel but yet he has about 200+ fps with lowest settings on destiny ... My pc specs are

  • Asus rog strix b350f
  • ryzen 2700x (3.7ghz)
  • RTX 2070 msi gaming z
  • 16gb of 3200 mhz ram ( currently set at 3000)
  • EVGA 650 power supply

Ryzen 2000 series IS slightly worse for gaming, so you won't get the exact same FPS, but I'd recommend updating BIOS if you haven't done so yet, and then uninstalling and reinstalling GPU drivers with DDU.

Also make sure that you're running Windows' High-performance power plan

That's why Ryzen 1st and 2nd gen aren't good for high fps gaming. Even 3rd gen CPUs (not APUs), you need some really good memory settings to compete with Intel CPUs in sheer fps.

Oh man I tried updating the bios on my last motherboard and things went terribly wrong. I did not know about the consequences on updating the bios and I didnt remember the version I had when my PC was already stable haha.
