I recently built a my first computer 1 year ago and am looking to upgrade a few parts. I have an i5-8500 3.00GHz CPU,  16GB of RAM(DDR4) with a speed of 2133MHz (CORSAIR Vengeance), a SSD with 1TB, a HD with 2TB, a GTX 1050Ti GPU, MSI Z370 Gaming-Plus Motherboard, a Hyper 212 EVO CPU fan from cooler master (really hard to put on), and a Corsair PSU RM750 (I think). I don't know where to start, I was thinking to upgrade my GPU or my motherboard because my motherboard doesn't have wifi (going to buy a network card). I don't know if one of my PC parts are holding back another. Have 2 case fans. Using it for Gaming, CSGO, League of Legends and Fortnite. Any ideas? Thanks

Your RAM is fine, intel CPUs don't really need high RAM speeds like Ryzen does, plus you have 16GB of it which is even better. Your CPU is also pretty decent as well as everything but your graphics card. The 1050 Ti will work fine for 60 / 75Hz gaming on the games you play, however if you play / want to play on higher refresh rates (like 144Hz for example), I would upgrade your 1050 Ti to something like a GTX 1660 / 1660 Ti if your budget allows for it. If you want something cheaper, you can get an RX 580 8GB for a reasonable price nowadays

First off all PCs have a bottleneck but mostly you shouldn't worry, you can handle a RX5700 XT and still only "bottleneck" it with an improved FPS over the non XT model.

So back to your situation, what is your current resolution and Hz of your monitor?

We know your games but what is your target FPS.

For 1080p players the first logical upgrade is 144 Hz, if already there then 1440p 144hz gaming, which you should only need to change GPU and monitor for.

Also try seeing if you can enable XMP for your RAM.
