Internet capped on one PC

SirBercilak

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling software a different cat6 ethernet cord, resetting my router, ensuring my router does 1gb speed, and i am capped at 180gbps, whereas my other pc gets around 600mbps. Here are my specs:

Case - Antec 300 Two
CPU - i5-7400
GPU - GTX 1660 Super OC
Motherboard - Asus Z270-A
Memory - 16Gb
Monitor - Dell P2415 4k display
Keyboard - Alienware AW768
Mouse - Logitech G502

I wish my computer did 180gbps (22.5GB/s)...

Typos aside did you try booting another OS? Issues like these seem to happen on a suspiciously consistent basis with Windows. Booting another OS will tell us if its hardware or just Windows doing what Windows does again.

The other pc, my wife's is also running win 10. Mine also seems slower, especially in MP games.

This doesn't make sense.

What is your connection speed?

I also think you mean 180 Mb/s, you got it right with the 600 so I guess you know what your talking about there.

I have a 200 Mb/s connection externally and I get 190-200 on speedtest but 250-300 on FAST... Something fishy there!

How did they get 600Mb/s? I have seen that on local file transfers but not externally unless your on some super mega fast connection (which are out there).

So i am paying for 500 Mb/s internet. My wife gets around 600 Mb/s, while i am getting 180Mb/s. It gets to 180 quickly, and stays there. I can almost physically see the stop when it hits 180Mb/s.
