Sata port fixable

Synfulkyn

I have an X501a laptop from Asus. Been looking for an answer for awhile.

I have a single sata port on my motherboard that hasn't been working right for a long while.

10% of the time it will read the drive. Not long after, won't read it. This goes for any drive, ssd or hdd.

Trying to find out if this is fixable or not. I do not have an optical drive or enough money to buy a new laptop.
