Computer Crashes unexpectedly (Possibly GPU or RAM)

Hi,

Recently I bought some new hardware. Today was playing a game and watching YouTube. After about 5 to 10 minutes my PC freezes and crashes. I've done other tests and stress tests on both. The only time it doesn't crash is when I used my old GPU. Although sometimes the RAM will turn off the XMP setting and clock at 2133 MHz when it's supposed to be at 3200 MHz.

Anyone know whats going on here?

Thanks

reinstalled drivers for the gpu, didn't do anything. Not quite sure what you mean by clearing the CMOS

You can reset the UEFI settings (clear CMOS) by one of the following methods:

 1. Go to the Exit tab in the UEFI and select Load Optimized Defaults.

2. Press the Clear CMOS button on your motherboard (if it has one).

3. Unplug the computer and remove the coin cell battery on the motherboard for a few minutes and then reinsert it.

Ok, so try running DDU and install the drivers for the new GPU from a fresh download. https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
