qBittorrent :) Basicaly the same thing as uTorrent on Windows. I found it best when I did my iSwitched!

Transmission is terrible, and I was wondering if there was any other good, free torrenting programs for Xubuntu. This isn't going to be for illegal stuff, as I have some of my less important backups as a torrent.

May I ask how Transmission is terrible? I use it on FreeNAS, so maybe it's just different for me, but I don't find it terrible. It's simple to use and does what it needs to.

Firefox doesn't seem to like it. It doesn't pick it up when I click on "get magnet link."

Right Click -> Copy Link Address -> Paste in Transmission.

Ah, ok. I don't particularly mind myself. But you are right. Transmission doesn't grab it for me either.
