Unique motherboard reccomendation

I need a different motherboard for my unraid server. (or maybe a cpu). My current one

Non Negotiable Requirements:

  • AM4 chipset (for Ryzen 1700)
  • Less than 8 inches x 15 inches. (probably mini-itx/ mini-dtx)
  • Must support headless boot.
  • Ability to underclock and undervolt.
  • support for 32 gigs of ddr4 ram.

Wishlist:

  • lots of sata ports for extra storage
  • several pcie slots (while staying under 8 inches)
  • not too expensive

Other ideas:

  • clever solutions with daughter boards and pcie expansion cards.
  • no need for rgb, wifi, or unneeded bells and whistles.

Components currently in use:

  • MSI B450I Gaming plus ac (to be replaced)
  • 32 gigs of trident z rgb royal
  • ryzen 1700 cpu (no integrated graphics)
  • gtx 1080 (will be moved to main pc for virtualization.

Backstory if anyone cares. I have a pretty crazy setup already. Threadripper workstation, super ultra wide monitor, endless custom rgb nonsense, and all of the rest. custom built desks I made. The new unraid server is for media streaming, smart-home control, and hosting for my web development. Once the server runs beautifully, I will work on unraid virtualization on my main pc for epic halo lan parties. (3 gamers 1 cpu). After that comes liquid cooling and an epic video montage to show off this sexy build.

its a defacto feature of asrock, in forums of asrock are talks about it and reddit no body has problem with headless feature.

from the manual of asrock fatal1ty csm mode allows you to boot with out peripherals.

I think I will buy this. One question: on the amazon page: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FVVNDFX/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A2L77EE7U53NWQ&psc=1

I claims to have 2 Pci-express slots. However I see only one. Do you know what they are talking about?

Slots: 2x PCI-Express 3.0 x16 Slots (one runs at x8)
