Device Manager giving same device multiple descriptions

I have a wireless gaming headset with a USB dongle that is maybe being duplicated when inserted into another USB Port. 

Device manager shows a new Device Description on the same device for each USB port. 

 

Screenshot shows the exact same device "Headset Earphone (CORSAIR VOID PRO Wireless Gaming Headset)" being plugged into different USB ports. Note the number before "CORSAIR".

 

Is this number there because the device description is actually the Bus Reported Device Description?

So each USB Bus returns a number into the description possibly.

 

This causes issues because sometimes there is a grayed out copy of the USB Dongle in Device Manager that conflicts with itself.
