Hi!

I need help fixing my pc. It is an intel i5-8600k with an gtx 1080 graphicscard and this settup has worked flawless for a long time up until now.

Problems:
- Usually high process usage ingame, but also regular tasks like opening google.
- Low FPS in a majority of games, usually between 70-80 compaired to a solid 144+ fps before.
- In whole a very unsmooth experience, especially compaired to before.
- Games like battlefield shows warnings signs like package loss, Latency variation and low fps.

I feel like I've really tried everything. Reseting Windows, Hardware checkup etc... If you have any clue of what this could be, anything would help.

Resetting Windows?  Not a full re-install?

Did you run a full malware/virus scan?

Might even have some drivers that are corrupted, Resetting Windows won't always fix that.

I did an re-install of windows and I've ran multipule Malware/virus scans but nothing seems to work. I have updated the drivers to the latest version.

Maybe a hardware issue then?  A full reinstall of Windows and drives should have you on the right track.

Package loss on Battlefield?  Internet wired or wireless?

Can you test internet?

It is wired. I have been using the same internet since when I built the pc and I don't think the high cpu usage and the low fps can be connected to the fps?

I was reading your line about packages ( think you mean packets) and latency, those are internet issues.

If you're playing online games, internet issues can cause fps issues as your machine is waiting updated info.
