Hi all, first time posting here. I'm looking to buy a new PC that I've been saving a good while for, I'd be upgrading from a laptop so anything over 20 FPS is playable for me. I've been looking at the following PC after 2 months of extensive researching and I've come across this which is ideal for my maximum budget (£350). (https://microdream.co.uk/gaming-pc-hp-8300-elite-quad-core-i5-3470-8gb-ram-1tb-hdd-geforce-gtx-1050-2gb-wifi-windows-10-64bit-desktop-pc-computer.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiArozwBRDOARIsAHo2s7ud2yZfHvr610G8NiOMhGO8VAzEwD7jDbXd4_ISXkSOKcW7wQ4-c7caAn2vEALw_wcB#product_tabs_review_tabbed)

The specs are listed somewhere in there, but it's got a Nvidea GTX 1050 2GB as a graphics card, Intel i5-3470 as a processor, 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD.

I am upgrading from 10 FPS on simulators as these are the only games I really play. I would like to get at least 20 FPS on GTA 5 LSPDFR, Train Simulator 2020, Train Sim World and OMSI 2. The laptop I currently have is an Acer Aspire F15 - it's done me outstandingly for 4 years but it's really slow and it takes me 30 minutes to load up a route on Train Simulator for startup on desktop. I really need an upgrade and this is the best that I can find. Please do let me know how this will run on the requested games! I should also add that I am clueless in building my own PC, that's why I've opted for prebuilt ones.

Many thanks, iAspex.

Slap a second hand rx 570 (can be found on ebay for about £80) on this and you'll get double fps than from your 1050 build.

Hi, thank you so much for replying. I do plan on upgrading it in the future, but I would like a PC that would last me for now at the FPS on the games listed. I will definitely take a look at the parts though. Thank you so much

If you're on such a tight budget, I'd look at second hand builds.

That intel cpu is on a long dead platform with close to 0 resale value. Similarly, the 1050 is quite a bad gpu with just 2gb of vram.

Afaik that is a used build, as for the intel CPU I have an i5 on my current laptop. 2GB is Vram seems to be twice the amount needed to run the minimum requirements for GTA 5 and other games so I'm kinda hoping for the best :/
