Used pc's

Go to solution Solved by boggy77,

I'd say the intel one is sligthly better for gaming. Not sure whether it's worth the price difference. The amd one is easier to upgrade.

Hello, so I'm planning on buying a used pc, and I have found two that I'm interested in: r7 2700x + 2080, i7 9700kf + 2070s. Which one will overall perform better in gaming (rainbow six, witcher 3 etc.) And how big is the difference because the i7 is quite a bit more expensive and I don't know if it's worth it over the r7.

Thank you and Merry Christmas.

If needed I can give full specs

Full specs would be helpful.

Just going off what you've said if the i7 system is farmore expensive then I'd go with the ryzen system, it has a better GPU and you can always upgrade the CPU later.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X  |  Cooler: Cryorig H7  |  Motherboard: MSI B450 Mortar  |  Case: Fractal Design Meshify C Mini  |  RAM: 32GB DDR4 3000MHz  |  GPU: EVGA 1070ti Gaming (Kraken G12 Watercooled) |  PSU: Corsair TXM650  |  Storage: Samsung 860 EVO 500GB + WD Blue M.2 500GB  |  Network Card: Asus PCE-AC56  |  Monitor: Acer Nitro VG270U  |  Audio: Sennheiser HD6XX + Schiit Fulla 2

Laptop:

Lenovo s540:  CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3500U  |  RAM: 8GB DDR4 2666MHz  |  GPU: AMD Radeon Vega 8  |  Storage: 256GB NVME SSD
