Display port compatibility

Displayport is backwards and forwards compatible, meaning old and new standards can work together, with the specs of the lowest version (e.g. you'll be limited to the resolution and refresh rate of the DP 1.2 connectors, which will be fine since that is on the monitor side, which I assume has a DP version compatible with its own specs).

 

TL;DR: it will work with no issues.
