Not able to setup my PCI-E bluetooth adapter

epicAdapter

Hey guys,

So I got as a present a QCA-9377 and the interface is a PCIe 2.1 and I got a GA-AB350 motherboard.

I cant figure out how to install this device. I tried this slots.

I imagine that my motherboard doesnt support 2.1 is there a way I can surpass this problem without having to buy another adapter? And if no, which kind of interface should the new adapter have?

Thanks for taking your time with this question!

thats a mini pci-e card , you need a mini pci-e port on your board for that . you'll need a passive adapter

I'm not sure if the Bluetooth will work though, they usually require USB support.

I personally would have gone for something based on the Intel AX200, or if all you want is Bluetooth not WiFi, a USB Bluetooth dongle.

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7
