Hi guys,
This is my last try before getting the jigsaw and cutting open the front panel.
I have a Corsair carbide 100r with 2 140mm fans on the front as intake and 2 120mm on the top for exhaust. The temps are quite good as long as i have the front panel removed cpu(i5 9600k) under 60C Gpu(RTX 2070) ~70C but under that most often. It's fairly quiet it really doesn't bother me, but as soon as i put the front on it sounds like Heathrow airport at a busy hour. Temps are still okay its an extra 10C, but when you can hear it through the headset it becomes bothersome.
The front panel hase some intake ports on the side and i tried to blow some "smoke" on it but it looks like it just won't go in at all.
Anybody knows if there's a fan that could get a good amount of air in or should i just go ahead and cut it open? I have the skills and the tools, also have some stuff to build some filtration and close it down for any foreign parts, but it's a new case and i'm not sure what other issues might come up with that.

Any ideas?

Have you identified which components are too noisy with the front panel closed?

Are you mounting the front intake fans in front or behind the case frame?

It will get louder due to turbulence, at least that's what i've noticed.
most of the noise comes from the front fans, as it gets warmer it spins quicker of course that's when it gets loud. And i tried replacing 1 of the fans at the front. it was a Corsair SP120 and now there's a Noctua that i ordered a bit too quick, it's their industrial one spinning at 3000 rpm. I've turned it down so it's working fine now.
Can't put it the fans behind the frame, the HDD bay is in the way but it's not the noise it's the temperatures that annoy me more. it's quite cold in this room and the side of the case is warm with the front on, can't think what's going to happen in the summer. Probably just going to cut it open.
Or i might try to find some slim fans.

It's not abnormal for the side panel to be warm. It's no surprise that there's turbulent noise with fans mounted outside of the frame so close to the front panel.

What rpm are you running the fans at?

You're probably better off getting a new case as opposed to trying to use slim fans for the 100R.

It stays warm after half an hour idling with the panel on but stays cool without it when under load. Capped the front fans around 1700rpm.
I'll try to open it up It's been a while since i moded anything anyway. If it doesn't work i'll look for a new case.
