I will be graduating high school in a couple of months and was planning on taking the Computer Information Systems Administration at BCIT. I am currently in enrolled in a dual credit program where I earn credits for this course in high school.  I am enjoying the dual credit program a lot. I was hoping their is someone on the forum that has/is taking this course. If you can give me some idea of the workload, difficulty and anything really. It would be greatly appreciated.

Workload and difficulty = Extreme.

It is one of the most competitive programs in BCIT due to the co-op program and it is just generally extremely difficult because of the insane workload and the complexity of the content.

I highly recommend studying all summer before you go, have a good working knowledge of all your first term courses! Do as many java tutorials online as you can before you go.

I would also recommend going through the tutorials here -> http://thenewboston.org/tutorials.php (all the programming tutorials)

If you have any questions about any specific courses or particular teachers please don't hesitate to ask :D

Ah I failed... I read Computer Systems Technology instead of what you ACTUALLY said :(

Not nearly as programming heavy - focus on learning Linux first, it will help you out, I have a buddy going into this program but he isn't in yet and I have not taken it personally
