Need quick help

Hi, so i decided to upgrade my old pc from windows xp to 7. But when i set new volume for windows 7 setup active and restarted for setup it got me error "ntdrl is missing".  So now how do i get back to windows and how do i fix this error so i can boot the setup? Thanks for any help.
