Odroid H2 as an Entertainment Center

Hello everybody!

I am planning to purchase an Odroid H2 x86 SBC, I will eventually use it as a Media Server and possibly some kind of personal NAS, with the capabilities of Emulating old consoles if needed too.

But that's only after I get my new rig some time during the year 2020 for gaming. Before that, I was wondering if the board is powerful enough to run my favourite two competitive games: League of Legends and CS:GO.

It is an x86 board, and thus should run Windows 10 no problem. It supports DDR4 RAM, and has Intel J4105 CPU with Intel UHD600 integrated gfx.

Is it better to run the heavy Win10 and game through that, or maybe run Linux on it and run Wine/Lutris through it?

It's a 300€ SBC with all the bits and pieces ordered with it, and I may just hold off ordering it yet if it can't run those two.

Any thoughts about the Odroid H2 here?

Any suggestions for what I should do here?

Should I for example pour some more cash in this, and buy an Intel NUC instead?

Hi Draygrah,

What did you decide in the end? Did you get the H2?

If so, was it able to run League of Legends smoothly?

I am thinking of getting one myself and would love to know what your experiences were.
