Hello guys, I am upgrading my PC in the new year, with the budget I have I was thinking to do the following upgrades

GPU: RTX 2060 Super (8gb)
CPU: Inter core i5 9600k (6c/6t)
Cooler: Cooler master hyper 212

Here are my current PC specs

The board does not support overclocking, you should consider the i5 9400f or, problably a better choice, the i7 9700.

gpu and cpu look good. what is your current cooler? there are better options than the hyper 212 for around the same price, like the

Arctic Freezer 33 eSports Edition / 34 eSports Duo

Be Quiet! Dark Rock 2 / 3 / 4 / Slim

any chance you can fit the 8700k in the budget instead of the 9600k? it's a much better cpu, but a bit more expensive

Since he's in India he'll needs to check availability anyways. The main difference between these cpus is HT, but he may not reach the same oc-results. If the price is competitive the 8700K makes sense but if it's more than 10% above the 9600K I wouldn't go for it.

Darn.. didn't check the motherboard he's using. Yes, it's B360, the K doesn't make sense with this board, it's money thrown into the oven.

Arctic Freezer and Be Quiet! Series CPU cooler are a bit pricy in our region and are not easily available

I am trying to avoid i5 9400f because it’s Processor Base Frequency is low as compared to my current i3 8100. I do some coding on my system machine learning, data science stuff, some programs run on single core hence trying to avoid it

Can you suggest any other locked i5 variant

Since you're already at 4c/3.6ghz I would recommend you to just buy an appropriate graphics-card, unless you also go for at least a new mainboard and cpu. The actual 1050Ti doesn't cut it against even the reasonable priced 1650s, let alone 1660S or -Ti.
