PC part brands

What is the lowest number of brands you can use when building a PC? My PC currently has AMD, MSI, CORSAIR, ADATA, and I think that's it. I'm not including software or peripherals. Could you get it down to 2 or 3 brands of parts when building?

You can make a full Gigabyte (Aorus) themed computer (apart the processor) including all peripherals.

You could do it, though there really isn't that much of a point in doing so. The least you could get it down to is two brands (Intel or AMD and Gigabyte) based upon existing parts, though some are difficult to get depending on region. This build is just an example and I would not necessarily recommend it. You could do it with ASUS if they actually made RAM, but they don't. Additionally, the only storage device they've ever made is the ROG RAIDR.

even including peripherals, 2 is possible with gigabyte. They stamp their name on AIO liquid coolers, boards, RAM, SSD, graphics cards, case, PSU, monitor, keyboard, mouse and speaker/headphones
