Occasional Request TImeout on a Continous Ping to Google & LAN Game Server

Hello,

 

Recently, I've been playing a lot of games with friends on local LAN servers. We didn't encountered any problems for the first few days until my friend started having some connection lag in game. The problem didn't occur on my computer at all (which was hosting the server) so we just ignored it and continued playing but as time goes on the problem on his PC gets worse. We've tried resetting the server,router & PC with no avail.

 

 • When I try to do a continuous ping to google & my PC on my friend's PC simultaneously it shows an occasional "Request Time Out" every so often.

 • We had this problem quite a long time ago. We fixed it by swapping the wireless speakers that was connected to the PC with a wired one

 • The host PC uses a wireless connection while the other one uses an Ethernet.

 

I've been looking basically everywhere with no luck. I'd really appreciate if anyone would help me fix this
