2080 Ti NVLink Thermals?

Heyo all,

 

Debating doing a white build in the IBP Snowblind (pretty sure its a H510i), or a NZXT H710i. The issue is, I want to go SLI, but how choked for air would they be in the Snowblind? Would I see an improvement, or would they be so hot that they throttle below stock? Any suggestions? Playing 4k 144hz games with near perfect scaling, and I need the extra DP on the 2nd card, so please don't bash scaling/stuttering.

Comes down to the board and spacing for the cards. 

 

If you have s slots between and the bottom card has 1 slot before the basement, that would be best. 

 

Then just making sure you can get all that heat out as well as getting fresh air in.

0.3 slots between cards, 1.3 slots from basement, intake would be 240cm through a radiator, and 2x 120cm exhaust.

Wouldn’t be ideal. Seems like a better case and mobo would be work. 

 

Cant really say if they are gonna actually thermal throttle. Prolly would run around stock clocks. Depends on your fan profiles as well. 

 

Assuming you have a cpu and a game that could even allow the gpus to hit 100% usage.
