GPU fan no spinning

I have a Leadtek gtx 1060 blower style card. Yesterday, when I was gaming my framerate started dropping from 150+ into the 40s. When i opened afterburner it showed 94°C on the GPU and zero rpm on the fan. I've set a custom cooling curve on the fan so by right it should be at max speed by now. I don't know if the problem is related to the fam itself or the power delivery. I don't have a spare rig to test out. I've tried restarting, changing the fan curve, giving it a good'ol whack, nothing worked. Should I tear it apart or leave it to someone at the tech store?

Hmm, the fan could have gone bad. I personally have never seen that, but doesn't mean its not possible. Its more likely than power imo. Thats kinda crappy :/

Is it still on the warranty? If it is contact Leadtek about it and check with them if they can fix it/replace it. If your warranty is already gone you can take it apart and clean it, maybe fan stopped working cos of something silly like dust accumulation, just remember that you gonna need new thermal paste when putting it back together 

   @Whiro tag or quote will do the trick

How about having a look for dust, what is the condition?

I would do a major cleaning on it.
