Low performance with a 1070

Hello,

I recently upgraded my GPU to a 1070 from gigabyte. From what i am seeing is that the GPU is underperforming in many games like FC5, SOTTR, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Dirt rally. here in these games on Medium to High settings the GPU is not working as well as it should do and sometimes drops the fps to below 60, its usage stays between 70%. My friend with a rx 570 and 2600 gets well above 60fps in all these titles. My CPU usage is hovering between 50-70%

 

My specs are:

Ryzen 2400G

Gigabyte GTX 1070 OC 

G.Skill Ripjaws V 3000 @CL16

Gigabyte AX370-gaming

SSD+HDD 250+1tb

Are you sure you are not using the iGPU? :)HDMI, DP plugged into the 1070? Try disabling iGPU in BIOS and make sure your applications use the 1070.

Dude, my iGpu is turned off and yes its plugged into the GPU HDMI
