i just started my new rig for the first time, its a ryzen 2700x with Asrock B450m pro4 and patriot viper steel 3200mhz. I entered into the bios, loaded the xmp settings (3200Mhz) and when i tried to start again the computer to install windows off a flash drive, the monitor either doesnt show any output or get stuck in the Asrock screen with the options of "del" for bios, "f11" for boot settings and other things, but its stuck, it doesnt accept any input from the keyboard.

please help me im stuck, i cleared my bios so it got to the bios settings, but for now i have 2133 Mhz ram...

the xmp was 3200Mhz with 1.35V.

should i give it 1.365?

also i checked my mobo and it supports 3200Mhz ram (with the little "+" sign near it)

do you think i should use the 2133 to install windows and then think about how to use xmp?

im kinda lost

thx for any help

Yes just install windows with 2133mhz, then go back to tweeking you settings. I recommend installing windows while in offline mode and suing 1909 image from:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Say offline when entering windows and disable automatic driver installation (will save you alot of hassle):

https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/disable-automatic-driver-downloads-on-windows-10

Install drivers manually from your motherboard support page + graphics drivers. Then put the machine online and update defender, etc.

When windows is installed, either download Aida64 or Typhoon Burner and read the SPD. In Aida64 you can view the entire XMP profile for all frequencies. After you can enter bios and enter timings manually.

but it works with 3000Mhz with 1.35, tho its a 3200Mhz kit

should i go to 1.4?

Try setting memory manually, aka th XMP profile, but manually with 1.35v. What mobo do you have? You should be able to read SPD in bios. If not download Aida64 and go to the motherboard tab ->SPD, then you can read timings.
