System

  • AMD Ryzen 3600 (Wraith Stealth CPU cooler)
  • GTX 1660 GPU
  • 550 Watt corsair PSU
  • TUF B450-plus Gaming

Problem

Cooler came with CPU  once plugged in and set up the computer says that its max is 855 rpm. While online sites say its top speed can reach up to 2700 Rpm. I just want the extra room for OC-ing as it is scaring me to over clock with these temperatures.

Question

How can i get the Rpm up if it is needed as hit idles around 60-70. what software do i need?

The best way set a speed fan curve is through BIOS.

I am not sure if there is a setting in your's, but all MOBO in our days have this setting!

I think something might be wrong with the cooler.  Did you change any fan settings yet?

Because my CPU fan sits at around 1500rpm and I think that's the correct default setting,  and I didn't touch the fan curve at all.

Maybe you didn't connect the fan to the right header,  maybe it's defective or some weird setting somewhere.
