Hey I was thinking if you have ransomware and cant get it off your pc, can you just get a new disk and put windows on it and Bam! it works. Or am i missing something and it infects the hardware its self and no fixing it?

yea you can just reinstall windows, on a new hard drive, that will work. you will just lost all the data on the old hard drive. no big deal for some, others its a huge deal.
