Steam In Home Streaming!

So I just checked out steam in home streaming and it was pretty awesome!

What were your experiences?

Just join the Steam Group and they pick out people pretty often.

You need a good router. I can stream across my house with a 2.4GHz router but with extreme latency. Until I get a better router I can't say I enjoy it that much. However I am excited about the potential of in home streaming.

Yea my latency was not so good but I'm excited about the potential!

Honestly, it was better than I thought

 

I ran my PC to a switch about 1 foot away (CAT 6) then about 50 feet to a wifi extender (also CAT 6)

 

Then from wifi extender through 2 floors to my router 

 

Then from that through a wall to my tablet

 

Ran dirt 3 1080P at 100ms lag (good enough for me)

My router is too crappy to do in house streaming. I'll wait it out for a while longer
