Help with heaphones for christmas present

ok so me and my mom are looking to buy my dad a pair of wireless headphones for christmas. Looking to spend $200-$250 canadian on them. We found a couple of options but im not an expert in headphones so just looking to see if these were good choices and if anyone had any other suggestions. Also what we're looking for is decent sound and active noise cancelling. Two options:

In my opinion both of them sound okay but not great. 

Sony lacks in the high end 

Bose is.... bose boomy and muddy but has the best NC out of them all

much better sounding but slightly lesser NC

and in my opinion verry nice design 

FOLDING MONTH 2021! GOGOGO and save on some heating costs 🙂

I second the Sennheiser Momentums.

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

 

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)
