Ram question

So I will be building my first pc in a few weeks. Ryzen 5 3600 

B450 tomahawk max 

Rtx 2070 super 

And I can either get a  trident z neo 3600mhz cas 18 ram kit(ddr4, 16gb, 2 modules) or a corsair Vengeance rgb pro 3200mhz cas 16(...) for the same price. I am not really familiar with cas latencies and would appreciate it if someone could help me. ( I will be using the pc mostly for gaming)

CAS latency is the amount of time it takes your computer to select a memory address (in clock cycles). In general lower cas latency = faster. However, this is slightly misleading, because a higher CAS latency at a higher clock can actually be faster (when converted to nanoseconds).

CAS 18 at 3600 MHz is equal to 10 nanoseconds

CAS 16 at 3200 MHz is equal to 10 nanoseconds

 

So the absolute latency is exactly the same, but the faster RAM has a higher bandwidth.

you will loose more performance and patience because of the rgb softwares, check the one you already use the software for if you really want thoose few fps

No 3600MHz CAS16 or 17? or 3466MHz CAS16?
